Pravina  Kumar is an accomplished Makeup Artist and Hairstylist with 22 years experience in the beauty industry. She is creative, imaginative, inventive, professional, friendly and possesses a caring demeanor which enables her to visualize and advise the appropriate look for each individual bride.

As a licensed Cosmetologist, she has interned with some of the top salons in Northern California. Her  extended training includes Makeup Institute, Mac Cosmetics, Glominerals and Napoleon Perdis. In addition to makeup, Pravina has taken styling classes by Martin Parsons,  Brian and Sandra Smith (Matrix Academy of New York),  Shirley Woo and Tyson Daniel of Pureology.  She achieved her certificate in Bridal and Photography makeup in 2000 and has worked on highly diverse backgrounds dealing with different ethnicities, numerous hairstyles, and various skin textures.

From creating  a clean and sophisticated look for the traditional bride to  unique and exotic look for the ostentatious bride, Pravina's finely-tuned skills also include shaping eyebrow, hair cut, color, highlight and straightening. She has worked on several special events including multiple fashion shows, photo shoots, and dance competitions and currently works at  the largest salon in Benicia, CA.

She understands the importance of a woman’s wedding day and is ready to help the bride achieve a timeless look, which will photograph beautifully and create life-long memories.  From chic and contemporary to over the top glamorous, Pravina creates a clean, breathtaking look that is right for each bride.  Her goal is to go beyond what is expected by each bride and to amaze them on their special day, having successfully styled 100s of satisfied brides.
